Wonder why she was out of the car sitting in the road??! Well being 1:40 am on a saturday night, my guess is drinking was involved. Hope she rests in peace and her family can get through this fatal accident. I hope the driver also gets through this ok too, i feel so bad for him.

I feel really bad for that poor driver who hit this girl. He's stuck with a dreadful memory of something that was not at all his fault. Yes obviously alcohol or drugs were involved-- so stupid of her and so sad for her family.

what is your problem comparing someones death to the cavs, this is someones life youre talking about. grow up and quit being a bitter old cavs fan. RIP Michaelann, we loved you girl and you will be missed.

Has anybody considered the thought that maybe her car died and she was trying to pop the hood or maybe she hit an animal and was looking under her car, was shocked and forgot to put on her hazard lights. The story is so vague. Everybody just says whats on their mind "alcohol related" "suicide attempt" NEVER assume anything! If you didn't see it happen, you don't know the whole story. Too many morons in this world with opinions!

I did not know Michaelann personally, but I know her mother and know that this is a devestating loss.
No matter what the circumstances are she was somebodies daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.
How sic of you Manny Sr. to make your comment!!

Most likely she was on drugs? Normal common sense people do not park their car in the middle of the road with out lights at 1:00Am in the morning and then sit down beside it. Think about it.

How dare you guys even try joking about this? Don't ever compare this to the cavs and to laugh about it! This is a family friend of our, she's a smart girl and very caring person. This should of never happend to her. Noone knows what really happen and noone will ever know. So Who ever compared this to the cavs get the hell out of here, who the hell do you think you are.

Michaelann r.I.p we will miss you:(

Manny Sr. It should have been you. We could use one less sick person like you in the world. Michaelann was the happiest, most upbeat, funny girl. She most deffinatley wasn't on drugs. These assumptions are ridiculous.

Drugs and booze could very well have something to do with this tragedy..I would not think it's ridiculous to think so

Sitting in the middle of the road? NO lights on? Not having head lights on while driving is one of
the main reason many DRUNK drivers get caught.
21 years old? 1am. Think about it. She was drunk, and lucky enough to know to pull over and (probably most likely got the spins, needed to puke) very lucky she didn't end up killing someone else. Just recklessness if you ask me. It is sad but what person with common sense SITS in the middle of a road at 1am??

i went to school with her. she was nice, personable, and i always saw her with a smile on her face. Get over the 'posible influences" the fact is that a person (with a name, family, and others who loved her) is no longer with us. We never know when OUR lives will end. So LEARN from this, make changes in your life so that you make a positive impact with YOUR life, whats it gonna take? please dont be the typical person and put things off... take time to think and search yourself.... become a better person and let this be a reminder and a wake up call....
* to her family and friends i will be praying for you

It very well could be that her car broke down. It's sad to hear about it and whether or not she did anything to alter her mental state she still died. Stop justifying being a jerk by saying she was on something. Death is death, an accident is an accident and what happened to the idea of respecting the memory of those not with us anymore?
