It's working out quite well as a matter of fact. The stock market has come back and making money for anyone who is wise enough to invest. Unemployment is started to go down. Thr future is starting to look bright again, in spite of the damage that the Bush administration left.

True that the market is going higher but much of that is attributed to the lower value of the dollar. So, what is your current purchasing power worth? As for the UE rate, you are incorrect. The proof is in what is called the U6. Look it up.
All I know is that when a large percent of my peers were spending money like drunken sailors, that they hadn't earned, I was saving. Given that fact, I am in a better finacial state than I ever have been. Personal finanaces are just that....personal. Politicians have no bearing on anyones personal financial well being. It is just convenient to blame them!

It's terrible that small businesses are not making it in this economy.
I had two small businesses and closed, and now I work for someone else part time. I love it!!!

I won't agree that BizzyBee is an idiot, but I agree with you about Wal-Mart.

When I was a much younger man Sears was the largest retailer around, and their time has now passed. Wal-Marts time will also pass.

Now there is a statement we can agree on. I don't live in Dublin (no offense) because we decided that we wanted to support ourselves in a single income situation is need be. Our decision paid off big time and we are basically free and clear on all. The borrowing I do is because the money is so cheap that I would rather spend the banks than mine.

If 4 stores are doing well and 6 aren't, shouldn't you just close the bad 6? Just a thought.
