It used to be a good place to live but now you cant even go out side without seeing a drug deal or stepping on a dead beat. I love this town but i am afraid its almost time for me to go and let the pease of thrash have it.

yeah it is a good town...if you would get the trash off of the streets....maybe they should hire mayberry's sheriff and let him run the town..

i grew up in that town, back then u could turn your kids loose, i wouldnt do it now though.

Like I said on the other post; that is all the town has ever been. I grew up there; I'm in my late 20s and it was like that then. It will never be different!!

im close to 40 and there might have been somethings goin on, but people trusted to let there kids out, now i wouldnt let my kid walk to the store by there self if i lived there

WE NEED A NEW MAYOR. That will address this city issues and meet some goals. 4 years from now the city will basically move backwards like every other administration.

Are you really stupid enough to believe the new mayor is the reason for the problem? Lets be for real, i live in paris but have been around the nm area for about 10-12 years now and this shit has been going on for alot longer than that. The difference now is you have a mayor that wants to make a difference and he is making the law abiding citizens aware of the problems the town has. In the past people chose to look away from the problems. Be glad you have a mayor looking for change and help him make a difference. He has put his life on the line with other citizens trying to stop drug deals and you should really appreciate it. I believe most of you idiots dont want him as mayor because he is cutting into your business you low life no good skum of the earth. You are the problem!

i still live in this town!!!!! so that affends me!!!! u ppl from lexington and frankfort dont drive through our town every day!!!!! and the ppl that live here dont just look out the window and say " oh well there is another drug deal goin on" no!!! we have drug meetings at the fire department on thursdays and we discuss the problems in this town and we try to make a good solution!!! and the only problem we have in this town is u talkin about it badly so stop talkin about this beautiful town!!!!

I think its the worst place in central KY to live, I lived there almost a year and had to get out, nothing but fights and drugs and people running around the streets all night, I don't know how it's even considered a town, I'e seen neighborhoods in Lexington that are bigger. the place never has been anything and today its worse than ever. I feel sorry for any person who has to live in the place, i hate it.
