This is a sad story. Knuckleheads who think Animal Control is an organization set up to be against the citizens of El Paso have no clue as to what AC is about, or the motivations of the people who want to work there. THIS is the reality of what AC deals with every day, in this rather backward city, where dogs are tools to be used to "defend" the shithole properties of ignorant El Pasoan rednecks, and cats are to be killed on sight, and animals in general are so far below the nature of humans that it doesn't matter how they get abused.
Not to say animals are equal to humans, as the crazy PETAphiles argue, but I'm saying that the mentality of some El Pasoans is so backward, sadistic and ignorant, that some (not me) might argue for further restrictions on owning animals at all.
