Points to be aware of in HOA scandal

The Vistana condominiums at the Las Vegas Beltway and Durango Drive took a hit when, after winning a $19.1 million settlement in a defect lawsuit, the vast majority of the money wasnt used to correct the defects.

More HOA's need to be investigated. A majority are a rip off and do nothing but pad money to the rich. We pay $90 a month to keep our area from looking like the projects. This is a new community in the Providence area with NO pool.
It is gated and has a park. But, I see no control of weeds at the new homes, dead plants and trees. I am concerned the HOA is NOT doing their job and just taking our money.
Can't wait for the first meeting.
