Another loser like Ferryman in Clark County.

A shame he'll be able to stand trial and probably end up back in society prior to his death.

Get well Lt. and may you return to duty to continue doing your work.

If he is in fact an illegal alien, here is yet another instance of them ruining our country and way of life. I watched the news last night as they reported about another one wanted for raping a 6 year old girl but could've been stopped earlier-he'd been let out by a sanctuary city refusing to cooperate with established federal immigration law.

What a shame.

Thats just the problem. The justice system does not work and this is going to happen again and again. They fill the jails with pot smokers and let the real criminals go.

More of the same with illegals.

While there are a few that are good and decent people, they still need to come in the front door to gain citizenship.

All illegals get away with paying NO taxes and suck up to the social programs that even veterans do not get for free.

I have no problem with shipping them all back when caught.

I like the Govenator, let's out source prison for illegals. Say $2k to mexico to hold him in their prison.

Change immigration laws that illegals are NOT admitted to this country, hence their kids born here are Not here and not citizens. Mom and pop would keep their kids in check if they were also worried about going back.

No he definetely did not deserve it...does anyone who goes out to protect their community deserve to get shot?? You are ridiculous and I hope one day you need a cop to protect you...Maybe then you'll realize.

First, where does it say in this article that he was an illegal? Is it his name? Can I assume if your name is O'Rielly or MacDonald that you're an illegal from Scotland or Ireland?

Second, no LEO deserves this. I'm glad it did not have the same results as Deputy Hopper in Clark County.

Third, the article says his K9 partner was hit but it didn't give any other details about the dog. Would like to know if the dog is okay.

Any person who is a police officer deserves more than what they receive. What a dangerous job!

"Koski said that Alsina fired several shots, and one bullet went into Blaney's police cruiser nearly striking his K9 partner in the backseat.

What happened to the good old days when the cops would have found him at the hotel, shot him in the head, and then place a "clean" pistol in his hand. Then afterwards have some beers with the DA.
