If you move towards the police with a knife you deserve whatever you get.

you must be a police officer i have family who are police officers they dont understand this one eaither. How ever they do know that on of the officers may have accidently shot his own. I don't know how often small town officers are retrained or recertified all he had was a knife.

but i was not there so i can not say anything police officers generaly do a great job the fact this guy is living is pretty dam good. I noticed though they have not filed charges watch if he lives they will.

wrong you deserve to be disarmed. the officers shot mark nine times and those are only the shots that made contact. one of the officers was hit with friendly fire. to me this shows a crossfire happend which was bad positioning and planning by the police. we also have to take into consideration the size of mark, being overweight i doubt that he could have move quick enough to be a real threat to three trained officers. this is a clear case of excessive force, and since i have had to deal with the police in this town i know that they are all power hungry and bored. so they get one bit of excitement and they jump all over it like a pack of hyena's. My friend mark is on life support due to nine shots. not one not two nine and you will try to defend the pigs that did this. I dont care weather or not you have a badge this is no self defense, if he passes this is straight murder. the goal is to shoot to disarm, not shoot to kill. so you tell me with nine shots what was their goal.

If he was shot nine times this should be considered excessive force. If he had a gun it would be a different story. The cops need to take karate lessons. Or send in a police dog. Other means can be used to take down a man with a knife other than deadly force. The police get paid to protect life not to try and kill people. Some of the local town cops have wet dreams about shooting people.
