Why do that? Raising beach fees may be a good alternative, beaches in RI are ridiculously overcrowded, not worth going through all that, it's always hard to get a place to sit and people act like complete morons as if they've never seen a beach in their lives,and raising revenue may help profit the state budget. This doesn't make my opinion popular, but it's the truth nonetheless.

it would drive away those who really want to go to the beach and enjoy it. i for one am for privatizing them
