Who cares? Does that mean man is causing global warming? What is the point? or are you just here to show how much you know. Here I thought it was 4.33333 billion years old. Wow, let's argue over it, maybe you should start a new topic?

you want me to point out events that would make scientist think the Opposite of what they do now?
would be? years of record cold...
but instead, weve had years of record warmth!!
so they are going on data....
not guesses, like you deniers.
It's called trends, and patterns. It has been going on since the earth was born, billions of years ago. Thank God it's getting warmer. So happy those Scientists in the 70's were wrong. Go back to your bunker, I will tell you when it's safe to go outside. lol...

The Common Man, the lowest common denominator, wanted to give Jimmy Carter his third term, and voted solely via the Race Card.
outdone by the common man?? what are ya gonna do?? except drink some more??

Many people like me, voted on the "fairness' card

letting tax rates for the uber wealthy expire, while the middle class gets a new tax cut...

im sure there are those, that are oblivious to the actual political debate, who voted for him on the basis of race...

I know millions voted AGAINST him, on his race.

the have been studying data to prove or disprove global warming for a two decades now...

ill go with the majority of the community, which ISNT paid for by big oil.

they could only buy 31000 scientists??

with all their money??

there are quite a few more than 31 000 climate scientists on the planet , slick!??

your science isnt break through, it is just contrarian to what the rest of the planet has been discoving.

because you have an economic/political motive for convincing people of something, akin to convincing them, that the world is flat.

None of my sources are paid by big oil. The knee jerk response of the Green/Left to people who challenge them is to say that the challenger is in the pay of "Big Oil", "Big Business", "Big Pharma", "Exxon-Mobil", "The Pioneer Fund" or some other entity that they see, in their childish way, as a boogeyman. You can go with the government grants, my sources are not paid by that either since they are from different countries. I agree science and politics don't match, but it's on both sides. Global warming has taken the place of Communism as an absurdity that "liberals" will defend to the death regardless of the evidence showing its folly. Evidence never has mattered to real Leftists.

Global warming’ has become the grand political narrative of the age, replacing Marxism as a dominant force for controlling liberty and human choices.

The modern environmental movement arose out of the wreckage of the New Left. They call themselves Green because they're too yellow to admit they're really Reds. So Lenin's birthday was chosen to be the date of Earth Day. Even a moderate politician like Al Gore has been clear as to what is needed. In "Earth in the Balance", he wrote that saving the planet would require a "wrenching transformation of society"

originally earth day was planned for the first day of spring...

but a democratic senator(from wisconsin) declared the date to be april 22 because the lefties back then were having a protest agianst the oil cartels(on that date), as they had recently(1969) spilled oil in the pacific ocean....

but im sure youll find something from the FAR FAR right loonatic asylum web sites that back up your claim.

because you couldnt have thought that stoopidity up on your own...

or could you have??

your analogy is rather crude..

what became of the the soviet union has little to do with how the green revolution will shape the world....

it is shaping it from the bottom up in lietrally every country on the face of the earth....

not the top down....

but you guys on the riech operate from the top down...

it is literally all you understand about organizational structure.

you cannot fathom a change coming from below....

as most big changes in the politicla landscape of america have come.. that is why you are so clueless when the people voice their opinions at the polls..

the labor movement and the civil rights movement and the sexual revolution.....
all fought for.....not given out.
none of those movements were legislated on until after they were in full swing.

by definition, leaders follow people.
at least in terms of progress....

leaders also follow corporations orders, when they have sold out their morals....

which is the case for most of them.

America has an abundance of natural resources, yet our policies keep them locked up. We can’t drill in the Gulf. ANWAR is off limits. Mining is nearly impossible due to regulations.“Endangered species” threaten existing supplies.

Meanwhile resource discoveries are being made the world over.

Last week, Repsol announced a new discovery in Argentina—estimated to be more than 900 million barrels of oil. The oil shale find is reported to be Repsol’s largest ever. Argentina’s potential has attracted investment from both majors and independents. Argentina’s rising energy consumption and higher prices make Repsol’s success especially welcome, representing a potential windfall for the country. Argentina is not crying.
Worldwide, more and more energy resources are being discovered, developed, and delivered. In the United States, not so much. In the global economic war, America is not poised to win.

"we cant drill in the gulf"

i THINK IF YOU did a little research??

you d find out there are 3500 offshore wells in the gulf of mexico.... connected by an aging pipeline system across the bottom that is thousands of miles long.

or were you talking about the persian gulf??

or was it the alaskan gulf, or the gulf of california??

Obama has increased drilling permits by 15% over where bush left them.

you just want them to drill EVERYWHERE....including enviromnmenatly sensative areas, like the north coast, and places where pople rely on coastal tourism, like maryland and va.

and weve discussed this in length, and you couldnt rebutt....because there is no alternative to how the world oil market works, except to go green or nationalize, both of which you equate with communism..

and our crude oil resources arnt quite as expansive as you think.

lol..... President Barack Obama placed a moratorium on all new offshore drilling ventures to provide time to research safer drilling practices. That moratorium was lifted about a year ago, and now drilling is back in business and going strong. Some say that the amount of oil rigs in operation will soon surpass the number of rigs drilling before the accident. At the forefront of the new boom is our old friend British Petroleum, the company that is currently settling out of court with victims of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. BP currently has five oil rigs open and drilling in the Gulf, and it expect to have three more fired up and ready to go by the end of the year.

so what you are really complaining about??

is that Obama cut off the new permits for as long as the oil spill was gushing, and the immeadiate aftermath...

what a ridiculous arguement?? you didnt get any new wells while they were reassing how to move forward.....

no exiting platforms ever stopped pumping for political reasons surrounding the oil spill.....

they continue tp expand and drill deeper, but that is not fast enough for you??
