Review: Mr Response Electric Inc

I don't understand. I've been using this company for several years now and have recomened them to my friends and family and they all say that they are great, otherwise I wouldn"t recommend them. They always tell me what the cost will before they start the job and give me a full explanation of what it entails, they clean up after their done, and they"re always polite and informative from the person who answers the phone to the electrian who does the job.

Guess you were lucky -- or maybe this company has really changed since you used them. Mine is the same story -- over-estimated, over-charged, failed to pull permits (and overcharged for the permits he didn't pull, too!) Watch out for this guy! This is trouble you don't need!

Obviously, This is Matt 25. Lets see, We did a job for you, you were givin an up front price, you agreed to the price, you signed the contract, the job was completed, the job was inspected, you've moved in tennants and are turning a profit, and YOU WON'T PAY US. Who's wronged here?

"Who's wronged here?" Well, at least three people here, plus the guy you're yelling about in your post. At least four others on other blogs. I'm not surprised somebody isn't paying you. Too late for the rest of us. All I can do is warn other people.

There is a July complaint on www.thiscompanysucks.com about misleading estimates, work done, etc, and a three star rating(out of 5) due to thumbs down on merchantcircle.com For some reason starting in about May or June people started having a lot of problems with this guy. There is a real pattern here re:estimates, permits, etc. I would do a complete search and post even more but I think everybody's got the idea.(The only positive thing I can find on the web is from TMW on this site, who I am begining to think is a relation to MRE) Learn from my mistakes -- search before you sign!

Dear Matt,
You can slam this company all you like. The fact still remains that we did a job for you, you signed a contact, and you now refuse to pay. You are using Goverment funds for your projects and making great profits on others money, and you are run by a religious order. Now, who's eyes should be open.
This is our last post on this subject as litigan has begun against Matt 25.

We have serviced ove 57,000 customers and these are the only complaints. We are also listed with the BBB, the comsumer watch dog group,with an A plus rating.

Beware beware beware
I was charged hundreds for a "diagnostic". I am sorry that I didnt see this website before I was involved with Mr Ripoff Electric.

Mr. Response electric did not have an A+ rating with the BBB until august when they bought accredidation through them. Before they were a BBB member they had a B- rating!!

Don't argue with these guys, as they will never admit what they do is wrong. Ignore the BBB too - wait until you see the investigative reports series coming out on them! Go the the attorney generals office and the division of professional licensure and pull his records. Then you will see this companys true colors!!! And believe me - it isn't pretty. Use them and you will get burned.
