Hey people, McDonalds does not charge for water, so they can put it in whatever cup they want. When you go into a restaurant, they give you water at no charge. They give you water in whatever glass they want to give you. Da

Water shortage? It's simple to figure out, they can't make as much money off water as they can their soda.
Plus the price of the cup, we can't forget that.
These cups cost a fortune, we all know.
You idiot! If they were going to pay the same price, but get water instead of tea or soda, they would be saving money!

You only have to pay if it is in a bottle.

Um hello? If you get water at McDonald's now, as well as Wendy's they give you a clear plastic cup for it. And every time we've gone through the drive thru we get a $1 cup (that's pop) with water in it for free.

I was thinking about a big mac and fries with water in a cup for my drink.
Are they going to charge me for the water?

What would be the difference if I ordered 5 seperate meals with 5 seperate receipts, and only you standing behind me?
I don't get the point of your question and apparently you didn't get mine. The point I was trying to make, in reference to your comment about hating people with multiple orders, is this...would you be as mad if you had to stand behind 5 people in line placing 1 order each compared to standing behind 1 person placing 5 orders? Wouldn't you have to wait the same amount of time?

The word hate or mad was never used in my comments. Any common descent person would just place the order and pay for it all at one time. If it is a money issue, let other people wait in line and order themselves. Go to King's Island and see if they let you stand in line one time and let you ride the roller coaster five times. Same scenario but different place. I do not care about the same amount of time. It is like going to a ballgame without assigned seating and holding five seats for people that are not there. It is rude. Why should a person that is not present be ahead of other people who are present? I do not think people should not be inconsiderate of others.

If you ordered inside and ordered a sweet tea, don't they give you a styrofoam sweet tea cup for you to fill it up yourself? They've done that with me before.

What's the difference between someone with 5 orders and standing in line behind 5 people?
It is the difference between one person in line and five people in line. Are you really that dumb?

Yes, I'm really that dumb. That's why I had to make 2 posts about it. Apparently you also missed the point I was trying to make.

3/4 of the people responding to this thread are morons. The point is-Customer service is non-existent anymore. No this thread isn't about a styrofoam cup. It is about the total lack of common sense in our society today. Hasn't anyone else noticed this? I myself worked in quality control and customer service for several years and we used to follow the principal that the customer is always right. The problem is that when some of these businesses get large enough they take on the attitude that there are 5 more customers standing in line to replace the one disgruntled one. Wal mart is an excellent example. You used to be able to return something there with no questions asked-now you must have your original receipt, give up your first born and your left testicle-then they will consider it. Anyway-yes "lostourbusiness" I get your point and agree with you.

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Leo

Stand by for fundamental changes in a close relationship today. Something that has been hidden or secret until now comes to the surface, forcing you to acknowledge it. For instance, if you fancy someone but haven't done anything about it, the atmosphere between you now could become so torrid that you're finally overtaken by passion.
