That is THE dumbest thing I have read on the internet in a long time.

I hope stupid isn't painful, because if it is I bet you have a pain that even Fentanyl can't touch.

Your parents must weep every time they think about what a shortbus riding dullard you are.

There are currently 43 states which permit open carry of firearms ....some have no restrictions, some require a permit.Of the remaining 7, at least 4 are moving towards allowing open carry.
There are currently 49 of our 50 states which have permit processes which allow for concealed carry. Most states recognize a persons constitutional right to carry a firearm & grant permits based on a persons lack of a criminal record. a few states have a more difficult process to qualify for a permit.
Illinois is the only state without provision for a citizen to exercise a constitutional right to carry a firearm......they also have Chicago the Nations leading gun violence city despite the most stringent gun control for its inhabitants in the country.
About 40 states have reciprocal agreements to recognize & honor other states gun permits.
The Right to keep & bear arms is alive, well & practiced in the USA.

Justin has already won his legal battle against the city solicitor.
Greg Karle forgot the first rule of legal elitism: a lawyer should never engage in a legal battle against a non lawyer unless he can be assured of victory.
Karle let his ego override his intelligence.
He has put the city in serious legal jeopardy and he should be fired.

Justin Dillon cannot get a CCW. He has tried and he was denied based on his criminal past. This is why he has latched on to the Open Carry crap. It's all he has left.

Those are some pretty good rips.. You must be the king of the 7th grade.

Justin hasn't won anything. The city ordinance predates state preemption. He's a clown that knows nothing about how law works.

I can't wait to see him get arrested and fined.

Agreed, so what's the point of protesting and parading around Perry Square?

Wrong. State law always trumps local ordinances. And the state constitution trumps local tyrants.

to end the intimidation of people who exercise that right. After this rally, when Karle gets his butt beat, that right will be secured.

Well Randy....There are always those ignorant of the law of the land & those determined to undermine it..........To protest & march should be an acceptable alternative to actual rebellion as an example of reminding everyone what the rights of a citizen are.

So gun owners are intimidated by expanded background checks and limits on magazine size?

Seems to be that the group that is organizing an armed mob, may be the ones trying to intimidate their opponents.

But what are you protesting? In your earlier post, you make a good case that gun laws are pretty much one sided in your favor. So what alleged injustice are you protesting?

Wrong. The position of the city solicitor, for one, who claims guns are prohibited in perry square. Also, the general uneasiness of the public towards open carry. This is about awareness and acceptance.

Sorry, but I think people parading around with loaded weapons is nothing more than a show of force intended to intimidate people who don't have the same views. You're protesting against a problem that you created for yourselves.
