[Watch Out]

I inadvertently ordered the wrong product and wished to return it. I wrote to them asking for a Return Authorization number THREE TIMES. The never responded. I'm stuck with the product (which I ordered because their web site was so un-informative and I thought it was the right product. There is no phone contact information listed and I cannot find ANY contact address or phone number on their site or through Google search. They are unscrupulous and I want to warn others that they cannot be contacted and don't respond to emails.

I have ordered on line but until now my end user did not receive the parts which is almost 10 days from my on line order. I emailed 10 times and our Company AMEX card was charge already. not response on my 10 emails. HUH!!! Don't order with them. Bad customer service.

this is the first time in my life that i take the time to write a post and i work all day long in front of a computer. Ideal true value has the worst online service ever. I emailed John many times about some damaged parts and NEVER received a email back from him. I called the place and spoke to a girl who said she would personnaly take care of it. She never called or emailed me to let me know the status. A week later i had to call back and found out the replacement parts had not shipped yet and the order was on hold. It's been 1 month now and i still don't have the replacement parts. Very frustrating! They should not be in the online business if they are not willing to offer proper service.

As a life long resident of Crossett until a few years ago I can say that I hated to see Ace Hardware leave close their doors. I had traded with Ideal True Value Lumber Company many times but the service and attitude of the owner and employees didn't compare. I remember a time I went in Ideal to pick up some nuts and bolts. The cashier jumped all over me because I didnt write the bar code number on the bag I put them in. I only wrote the price and thought thats all that was needed. Now Ideal knows that they will get your money on hardware item unless you go out of town. I heard there was a major chain hardware store coming to town, or did they run that out of town too?

Crap. I too ordered from these people(?)and sent 2 emails without response.
LOL, the post saying "they went out of business" could be a rouse perpetrated by them to make people think they are out of business and there is nothing you can do about it. IF they are not there anymore be sure that they will show up somewhere else and try to do the same thing to other people.
$8,703,644,145 is the ph# I found on the internet. The fact that they Don't post a phone number in their website should throw up a Big Red Flag to people.
I just called the number above and it is not disconnected. Yet.
Come to think of it, my local Ace hardware has the same mucked up attitude. All they have is a good variety of sometimes hard-to-find parts.
Anything with an ACE Hardware label on it you can almost double the price for it, and it does not last any longer than any other part.

It also happened to me too. I ordered items from them since 11/3/08 but now I have not heard anything from them except the only one email that I received after purchasing. I've already sent email to them 4 times but still no one answer. Now, I'm just keep waiting.
What should I do?

I ordered recently from Ideal True Value and I am happy to say that I received my order as stated within 5-7 business days. The order was well packed and arrived in great shape. An email inquiry to customer service was answered promptly and courtesly. I will certainly do business with Ideal True Value again in the future.

I ordered 2 parts for my well on 4/22/08. The website said they had the parts in stock.I recieved an order conformation immediately. Ideal true value charged my credit card for my parts the same day. 5 days later I had not recieved my parts or heard from them. I sent John an e-mail asking about my parts. He responded 2 days later saying that thay had to order the parts from another warehouse and that they would be arrivng at ther location on 4/30, they would have to repackage the parts and would ship when ready. On 5/2 I recieved 1 of the parts. I tried to contact John on 5/5 to see when I would recieve the other part, and to my surprise none of the phone numbers listed on ther website were correct. I will never buy anything from this company ever again, and would not recommend them to anyone.

I came here to see what other people thought about Ideal True Value. After reading some of the reviews this looks more like a satanic hate monger's forum, not a business review. Look how Mr. dissatisfied from Jackson Heights, NY seems to be endlessly watching over the sour words he wrote and notice how he responds to Evan's review...and does it not seem strange that most of these people are from the same city?
I will say...I have made several purchases from Ideal True Value and will say I received my orders in a fair and reasonable amount of time. One of the orders was 7 days before it shipped, but it says 5-7 Business days on their site. I will buy from them again. And for Mr. Dissatisfied, you really need to get a life.

Please read the above comment that I posted on Wednesday, Nov 12,2008 but now I still haven't received anything from them and my credit card was charged.
They are the worst company that I've ever seen.

I also experienced a delay after ordering an item online. Called the number that ( thankfully ) was supplied on this site and had some guy saying that the product needed to be shipped from a warehouse in Texas to their Arkansaw location and this 5 day wait was due to the backlog after the Thanksgiving holiday and that they will send a confirmation of the sending date. I am not holding my breath but will let you know what transpires.

I orderd 2 items on 11-17 2008 they charged my credit card, I have never received an email they promised to sent me with an order confirmation.It is 2 days before Christmas and not a peep. This is just one of many reason this great country of ours is in the toilet.

Don't do business with this outfit! They will not issue RMAs for items that don't fit or don't work even though their website says that they will. They won't answer email and there is no phone to contact them.

I think someone from this terrible company made up this satisfied customer story--if not, "Evan" I am curious to know what you would need to email customer service about if everything went so spendidly with your order?

I placed an order over a month ago and I have sent at least 7 e-mails asking where is my stuff. The only responce I get is : "We will ship as soon as possible". They have Taken my money, and I am starting to feel very cheated.
