Why is the murder problem ignored?

Last month we went to the city council meeting to bring up the murder of our beautiful parents, Antonio and Luz Rodriguez. They meant the world to us, everything that went on at the meeting came out in the Cleveland Advocate and on the internet, except the questions we had on our parents murder. They were brutally murdered in their home at around the middle of the day, people were walking up and down their house, and nobody saw anything, We have $15,000.00 dollars in the reward fund, could someone please help us, we are not going to let it go, because this has set us back. We loved our parents so much, please help us. Very, very sad and depressed.

I would have to say the reason that nothing has been done is because Cleveland's justice system is a joke and corrupt. I remember when this murder happened and I remember thinking how could this happen in out little town. I thought this would have been solved a long time ago. If there was money involved for the police, they probably would have done more. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Our system in Splendora/Cleveland stinks. My sister was murdered in 1980. The cops know who killed her, one of their own. Cause at that time that was all she dated. She trusted them and when she tried to get out she was found on the side of the road whith her skull crushed. But the police never told my parents, my baby sister had to go and do it. She was on her way home and came across the police there at the site. My father was threaten so many times. She left behind 2 babies. I feel your pain, cause my mother is left still wondering.

Sue this is about one of the saddest thing I have read in a long time. Not only for your mother for all your family too. What a shame. God bless you, but don't give up your hopes maybe one day god will take care of it. Sorry for your loss, she deserved better than that, but you know what goes around comes around. They brush it under the rug.
