I'm glad to see Da Coach supporting his former player as it worked out so well for his own senate run.I applaud Mongo for running and hope he keeps running and never looks back!

From his own new website:

•Steve McMichael says the Village needs to expand its commercial prospects and work to improve the plight of residents struggling to keep their homes and find good jobs.)(Fact - 90 new businesses, which provided more than 800 additional jobs to the community in 2012, bringing our three year total to over 3,600 jobs.)
•His vast experience and contacts in diverse markets makes him uniquely qualified to attract businesses and foster public-private partnerships to reduce the problems residents face.(Sounds like someone used Resume Maker Deluxe.)
•"My notoriety (Used up ball player and a fake wrestler) will open doors and get phone calls returned when I am reaching out to resources badly needed by the Village.(Please name one resource that is not already working with the Village.)
•I want to use the goodwill I have built through several different careers for the benefit of Romeoville." (Having several different careers in a lifetime does not show stability and again, RMD.)
Mongo - Not one reputable endorsement that comes from an actual political figure or Romeoville resident. Not even his own campaign team. Just former team mates.
John Noak - Endorsements

I agree that Mongo isn't the choice but those endorsements don't mean much either. They all would have endorsed the incumbent. I really don't care who Bill Mayer supports for mayor.

In order to be an effective Mayor you have to be able to work with the very people on that list. The Village isn't in a bubble. I think it says a lot that the Mayor has such broad base support from Unions and officials all around us.

It looks like the local Plainfield Township Republican Party has not endorsed Mayor Joak!

Let's not pretend that John isn't a republican. Partisan race or otherwise.

I like that Noak is republican. I hate that he has union support, because unions suck and are destroying this country.
