High School Security Guard Charges with Sex with Student

A former South Carolina high school security guard has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and stalking.

Here's another freak lurking in the school system. Since the girl is sixteen, he'll only get a slap on the wrist for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor." He might not even have to register as a sex offender, especially if he gets a good enough lawyer and pleads the stalking charge down to something less offensive, say jaywalking. That's a pity.

This may not be morally right because of the age difference between two, but as far as the law goes, the girl is 16. There for its not a crime to sex it up with a 16 year old. It looks like the goverment is once again looking to railroad an officer. I would not be happy if my daughter was having sex at 16 with a man his age, or in fact at all. But I know that teenagers are going to do what they want, and they have a mind of their own. Its just as much the girls fault as the guy. More so, its the media's fault, if the TV would stop allowing all the smut that our kids get to see, and stop all the trashy music,and stop taking God out of everything, then we would have kids that had some morals, values, and ethics again. Parents raise your kids the right way.

Adults really just need to demonstrate some common sense for a change. Can anyone really argue that this man is not an idiot? Yeah, parents should take control and teach their kids right from wrong, but come on adults... use the COMMON SENSE that God gave you.

Yes it is ALWAYS the ADULTs' fault.

Any 16 YO who wants a 40 something year old man is either looking to get paid someway or has some serious psychological issues. Or both.

Any 40 YO who wants a mid teen is either going through a midlife crisis or is a Mormon polygamous(?). Any 40 something YO who acts out on that impulse is a predator, especially one who is in a position of authority, like a police officer or security guard.

Case in point: This PREDATOR called the 15 year old out of class to his office because he wanted a hug and a kiss. You can't get much more predatory than that.

It's up to you to govern what your children are exposed to,be it TV or music,and their spiritual growth is your job.And teenagers might do what they want so long as they realize for every action,there is a consequence.

I don't care if the age of consent is 16...there is still something seriously wrong and disturbing with this scenario! This man was in a position of trust, and he took advantage of that.

People already have so little faith in the school system, even without teachers, substitute teachers and this security guard sleeping with the students. Who's next...the cafeteria lady?

What is the Superintendent of Education (Rex) going to do about these sexual activities between students, teachers and employees. Something needs to be done. The Department allow sex in the classroom. The Department allow pregnant students to attend class which gives out a signal that sex is ok. Don't you know that the numbers of young girls attending class pregnant shows that it is ok to have sex and the adults that teaching our children sees that the students are sexually active and that is why this is happening to our children. When is the State going to realize that something needs to be done. Or children is not safe in the public schools. All students who decides to get pregnant should attend adult education classes in the day or at night. And these adults should be given prison time if they are contacted with these children. These children are our future and look what is happening to them..
