It's interesting watching the battle rage on about a recently-passed Arizona law that demands that people be prepared to show they are in this country legally.

All States should adopt laws barring illegal aliens from working and getting any benefits.

If they get deported it is their own fault for not coming here legally in the first place. But the cost of deporting them would lose too much money because they will come right back again and if you put them in jail you are paying to house them.

No one complains about Canadians coming to USA illegally, they live on the same north American land mass, but Canada's government is not based on leeching of the united states. The real source of the problem is Mexico's dependency on the united states like a leech depends on a host it doesn't help either of us right now when the host country's economy is low

Actually, Alabama's anti illegal laws have had a much better survival rate in federal courts.

Voter ID laws, proof of citizenship for driver's license, etc. have all survived court challenges.

You have to have a birth certificate to get a driver's license. You have to have a driver's license, or other photo ID to vote. Alabama provides ID free of charge so no court challenge based on the financial burden.

Alabama also has random road blocks to check for driver's license, registration and proof of insurance.

When anti illegal laws were first passed here a few years ago, illegals fled the state like rats from a sinking ship. Many went to California, others went to Illinois, both noted for their acceptance of illegals.

As long as they leave Alabama.......
