Jessica,<quoted text>That's just what I heard. There is so much going around my school about it and things get mixed up. You shouldn't yell at me just over something I heard, I came on here to give my prayers to her and your yelling at me for it? You should be concerned with other things such as Karyssa, not coming on here to obnoxiously correct peoples mistakes. Maybe a little courtesy next time please? But again my prayers do go out to Karyssa and I hope she recovers. She is such a strong, beautiful, funny, bubbly girl and i don't know what I'd do without her. It's such a shock and it happened so fast. It seems like just 2 weeks ago I was with her at a game and now she is on life support all because some stupid person didn't have her wear a helmet.
I am sure that you were just being defensive here, but the fact is, no one yelled at you. Her uncle just asked that you be sure of your facts before you post them. Someone reading here, may get excited thinking that something has changed for the better, only to be let down learning that it wasn't true. I know that I would have.
I don't think that anyone should be judging the family on how they worry/grieve. Am I saying that they should get a free pass on what they are saying right now? I think that I am. The fact is, if this boy did what the WITNESSES are saying that he did, then he deserves to be slandered for his actions. Cause and consequence! No, I don't wish anything against his survival, however, I have not read a single comment from one of her family members doing anything like that either. When mentioned, each one has prayed for his survival as well.
Any 16 year old, this would have been heartbreaking to hear of.... but for those that know her (even if not that well) it is all the more devastating. Karyssa is a feisty beautiful little girl! She has so much promise for her future... Let's all keep praying for her that she makes it there!!
Momma and Daddy, my heart truly goes out to you, and you family!
