North Brunswick at odds with newly-formed employee union
A newly formed union says the township is refusing to agree to a contract, even though the union isn't asking for a raise.

The economy is in a period of deflation.Therefore a wage freeze is as good as a raise.Good PR and something that can be brought up in future negotiations for the next 20 years as if they are actually sacrificing for the common good.Besides the mayor didnt say he wasnt going to sign off on the contract he just wanted to read it first.Such a contrived and disingenuous disagreement for political gain.Womack will not alienate the union any more than Bush would have any fundamental disageement with Big Oil.This all comes right before the election as if anyone believes that Dems will hold the line on taxes in North Brunswick or anywhere.
