The old town hall is a dump and an eyesore. It needs to be torn down. Warren needs to stop throwing good money at bad projects…. And living in 1959.
The idea of wasting money on temporary trailers is ridicules. The cost will be close to the same as buying the property on Pulaski St.. The building is permanent and makes good fiscal sense for the taxpayers of Warren.
And to the people at the last meeting who complained that Pulaski St in West Warren is too far…. The police are out on the road, not sitting in the station waiting for your phone call. Response times will not be diminished.
Our police deserve a safe, modern, and effective police station. Although the location on Pulaski St. is not perfect, it is the only option that Warren has that makes sense.
