hey GF... quit being so negative. Its time to step up and participate in what goes on in your community instead of ranting and raving here. If you don't want to live in a ghetto, chanel your energy into something positive for a change. There are people making a difference but they need your help to make real sustainable changes in our community. There is a council meeting Tuesday 9/15 at 7p at the borough building. Its a good place to start.

I lived in Braddock when I was a child and luckly I escaped. Would I move my family back? HELL NO!! I would not move back if they were giving away million dollar homes up there, I'll work for my home, family & peace of mind...Thank you.
Still wonder why is someone asking ? I know alot of folks that still live in the area, how do you help the folks that own homes in town ?

I think N. Braddock is taking some good steps. Infrastructure is the most important part of any town. So what have they done? The Grandview Golf Club of course, new homes by the CARE group that pays taxes, the sports complex with some classrooms presented by some gentalmen that made it in the NFL, the possibility of gas drilling to bring in tax money and new council members and mayor. So steps are being taken, we need to give them some time and our support.

I think this makes some sense. If you look aroud, you do see some improvement and more involvement by people. Yes, we have a long way to go. But we see a starting point!

And it is small minded people in this town that still think that grandview golf course is of any use as far as taxbase or contributing, it has been a monkey on the back of this town since it opened. And it is small minded people that think that 5 to 10 new houses in this town are going to make any difference whatsoever tax wise.
