Thankfully, he remains NJ's best governor ever and a strong candidate for the republican nomination for president. The ability to have Scotty "beam him up" should make his fund raising time away from NJ in the coming months all that easier!

Best governor??? LOL??? these are YOUR words: "make his fund raising time away from NJ in the coming months all that easier"??? LOL!! you make me laugh!! they just don't go together, now do they??? of course not!! you cannot do both or be both!!
a "best" governor would be governing NJ,!! right here in Trenton, taking care of the STILL homeless Sandy victims, finding ways to cut NJ property taxes, eradicating double and triple dipping, improving roads and the infrastructure, or simply, any of the other 88 campaign promises he made- he never promised to leave New Jersey , actually abandon the people of New Jersey so he can seek his own political goals did he?? nah!! he wanted you and me to vote for him so he just lied and said New Jersey was his only plan-
you just have ignored the latest financial news about the new $17.2 trillion, yes TRILLION,debt ceiling!! where is the objection?? that's $512 BILLION higher than before to pay for your BEST GOVERNOR to govern ?? or is he your non-governor when he and Scotty are beaming out there together?? and you party boys say that he is the best governor?? lol!! what a joke!
he's been beamed up right along with all the rest of the political liars all along!! he's gonna need more than Shatner, Nimory and the entire cast of wookies to beam him into the White House!! lol
just will not happen and I'll be there to say I told you so! this is merely the pause before the storm hits the fan while prosecutors are collecting enough to tie up this case with no loose ends!! you don't hear anyone in high places saying it's over!! no, no, no, not yet!! and they will tie it all up with a neat bow and close the White House doors for good!!
nothing personal here, just my humble comments-

What a chithead you are / best governor?
Let's see - he WAS in favor of the new PATH train tunnel while running for governor - as soon as he was elected, he killed an already in progress job - and why?
Christie stated NJ would have to cover 70% of the cost to build it / but guess what?
HE LIED!
Cost to NJ was 14.4%- NY bore the largest financial burden. But, what did Christie do with over 70 billion dollars already allocated by the feds specifically for this project?
He spent it on your roads and bridges - so he wouldn't have to raise the gas tax, which is why states have gas taxes - TO REPAIR THEIR ROADS!
But fat boy re-allocated funding for something he was never supposed to do. He should be investigated for that alone!
Not to mention what he and his administration did to Hoboken -0 you do know about that BS his people pulled, right?
Keep the fat f'k - nobody will vote him back as governor now / and forget the presidency!

LOL Vandy, looks like you may have found someone to rant by your side. But you have along track record of ranting here already and never presenting the facts that might support your claims. Perhaps with "TonyT" here we have someone who can provide links to the info sources that support his claims and statements. I rather liked his lead statement " What a chithead you are / best governor" ? But lets see Mr. Forum Balls back up his claims.

So "TT", what have you got lad? Lay it on me.

Yo, yo, yo...."TonyT"! You said "NY bore the largest financial burden", right? So give me some figures that establish that burden pls.

And before you embarrass yourself "TT", check this out.

And Vandy, was that you with the "Impeach Christie" sign at yesterdays meeting? Can't wait for someone to disclose the details behind that woman's obvious unhappiness with our beloved Gov.. If she really has a valid complaint, perhaps we should move her into "Drumwhacket (sp)", the Governor's resisidence.

Do you think you will like it there, Vandy???

To beam up Christie, you'd need a crane.

Wow, did someone open the floodgates here to another world...the anti-Christie world?

I'll just wait for facts, trading barbs is not my thing because it accomplishes nothing like your two posts, Lawrence!

Say, where have you and "TonyT" been with all your thousands of posts here on Topix? Certainly not in the Middletown, NJ forum, right mate? So tell me, what brings you both here now, mates?

This thread, and your arrogant comments have brought me there. I'll leave TonyT to express his own feelings.

In my opinion, only a denying fool would believe Christie had no hand in Lanegate. The prospect of Christie being on the national stage makes this much more then a local issue.
Something tells me that no matter where the evidence leads, you will remain a Christie disciple. But to the public at large, if Christie is innocent, he is incompetent. If he is guilty, he is a bullying crook. Either way his chances of winning a national election are roughly about zero.
