Please be aware that over the years there have been many bad reviews posted about this business on various forums, the owner somehow manages to get them removed. Keep your pets far away!!!!!

This vet is also a dog breeder she uses this ploy to make people feel she is more trustworty and qualified however this is far from the case! After selling us a dog with a problem which was going to cost a small fortune to fix we desided to return the dog to her thinking she can fix the dog aterall she is a vet right? Upon arriving back to her vet hospital she charged at me in a threating way screaming and yelling demanding to see the dog!Far from the pleasant person she was when we were handing over Thousands in cash for the dog when we picked her up! She is a NASTY NASTY person to deal with! Never again do I want to deal with the likes of her
There are plenty of vets and certianly plenty of dog breeders out there. save yourselves the aggrivation DO NOT DEAL WITH HER

What was wrong with your dog? I'm considering one of her dogs.

Hello,

Did you ever end up getting a dog from this breeder? I'm considering her as well and would appreciate any input!

THanks

I have purchased a dog from her. Price for pet fair. I even went back for care but she always left me feeling like she was hustling me. Routine check up with vaccinations, I asked her to clip the dogs nails and she charged me for that as well. It is in her right just felt it was over the top.
She does come off very stern and short with her tone. When I purchased my current dog (5 years ago) she would not allow me to see the dogs, meet them or anything. I went with her word.
My dog is perfect! No problems with him, smart, healthy, temperament is great, he is why I must have another..just do not think I will buy from her.

I am also considering purchasing a puppy from her. Did anyone else have a negative experience/ purchased an unhealthy dog?

Im considering purchasing a dog from her as well - has anyone else had any other negative experiences? Im finding some negative stuff online but it all seems to stem from one incident.

I would ask to meet the puppies and be sure to see and meet the parents (especially the mother).
It was not clear to me that she owns the parents and she could not provide pictures of the mother. Make sure she is not a middle man/frenchie broker.

I would never have anything to do with a vet that when an owner left there dog there and never came back they euthanized it. I mean bring it to a rescue group a shelter any where that will give it a chance to find a new home not just euthanize it . I work at an animal hospital an emergency clinic so we have dogs abandoned all the time ( pit bulls) nobody wants them but we never euthanize we always find places or fosters to take them.Im just saying it shows all she cares about is $$$$$$$.

I recently met someone who bought a puppy from Forever Young and five days after taking the dog home, the puppy came down with Parva and almost died. The breeder/vet treated this puppy for 10 days and the puppy survived, but it confirms my suspicions that this is a not an honest operation. Forever Young charges WAY MORE than other, more honest and forthright breeders and from what I gather has a history of unhealthy dogs. While it is not the puppies' fault, don't give this woman your money and support her operation. There are plenty of other reputable, pet loving breeders in the area.

Kimberlee Young animal hospital is the most disgusting place. It smelled so foul when I walked in. She had two turtles in a tank that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. And a lizard in another cage that had dead worms all over the bottom of it. There was animal hair everywhere and the counters were covered with dust and COBWEBS! I just had my cat neutered there since it was covered by the shelter but I would NEVER EVER GO BACK! If she can't take care of her own pets, how can we expect her to take care of ours!

started my research on breeders and glad i read the reviws. I was a bit taken back over all the animals this Vet has. Sounded like 19 and counting sitom. Also shocked t the cost of her pups. SO what about the AKC part. Not impressd.Well I'm not rushing into anything rightnow but this one is off the list. Thank.

UGH! This thread just made me so sad! I've been saving up my hard earned money to reserve a dog from Dr. Young this spring. I was justifying her pricing because I thought I would have a guardian angel watching over my dog for life. But charging for a nail trimming after paying her 6,000? Then after reading this thread I did further research and found the lawsuit. Sigh. I thought she was a true animal lover, that was part of her sell for me. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a breeder? I'm located in NJ and don't want to "ship" a puppy ! Thank you!

Please see the following found on Forever Young website:

*** Please note that ForeverYoung does provide stud service on occasion to select approved females and as part of this service we do get back a pick puppy from such litters. If you are looking for a certain sex or color please inquire as not all puppies are always listed on our web site and we might have some pick of the litter pups available as well. We also often have a couple we are keeping to watch mature as we are undecided ourselves if we are keeping them perhaps.

This further supports my suspicions that she is a dog broker and does not breed her own dogs, despite claiming to do so.

This is the most unprofessional Vet/Dog Breeder I have ever come across.I live 1 hr from her hospital and have 2 Blue Frenchies that I plan on breeding. I contacted her for not only breeding advice but needed someone who would inseminate and C section my female when the time was right. She text me once thinking I was interested in purchasing one of her puppies but never got back to me after realizing I was going to breed my dogs and needed her professional assistance. I am so happy I found out what she was really all about. Actions speak louder than words. She is someone only interested in herself and that's all. DON'T GO TO THIS PERSON EVER!!!!
