As I have said before regarding this issue. They are keeping zoned industrial because of it's location. With it being right off rt279 they see it as a threat to downtown.

The reason they rezoned that property where Carbone is building their new dealership is because the town got another piece of land for it. Carbone and the town of Bennington did a land swap.

Commercial is where its at. WHAT industry will build in bennington. With EPA laws. They didn't have the laws back 40 years ago. BCIC. Can't get industry on east road. Its all overseas cheap cheap
