Apparently the new “Life Change Church” is posing to be a Christian church however it is allegedly connected to Radiant Life Church of Sacramento and the pastor Tony Cunningham. Check out there web site at http://www.lifechangechurch.info/partnerships... It appears that they are in partnership with Radiant Life Church
Tony Cunningham – Senior Pastor

Radiant Life is a religious church that has a long history of false teachings that have Spiritually Abused many of their members. For example Tony Cunningham teaches Spiritual Parenting (this is a teaching that is not found in the Bible), Covenant Relationships & Discipleship Training that mirrors up with the SHEPHERDING MOVEMENT. Young adults 14-21 have been encouraged to reject their parents and become adopted Spiritual Sons & Daughters some are being encouraged to emancipate them selves from there parents. Wives have been encouraged to divorce there Non-Compliant husbands. And the list goes on…
What is really weird Cunningham once worked as a youth pastor in North Bend Oregon and locked horns with the senior pastor and leadership there?

BraveHeart....
Are you living here? or in the state on the page?
just wondering.
If you have such a problem with this, then maybe you should do something about it.
Before you bother too many people, you might want to get your ducks in order first, before you call-out.

I have questions/concerns about this new church too. As far as I know they are just renting that particular church building and are not affiliated with that church. The group started in Dale's house when they moved back here, but grew big enough that they needed more room.

I’m not sure why this forum appears to have been pulled but any one interested in knowing more about this church and its affiliations need to check out the testimonies of people who have been associated with Radiant Life Church in Sacramento and specifically the teachings of Tony Cunningham

From authoritarian leadership tactics that would equal a Marxist to Covenant Relationships, Spiritual Parenting, Masquerading as an Apostle to the many financial scams that Tony has lured people out of there money.
The red flags and red light going off just knowing that Tony is associated with your pseudo pastor Dale who received his credentials from???

Yes Radiant Life has become a Cult at the direction and teachings of Tony Cunningham

The premise that Cunningham puts out in his book called “the moment of becoming” tips off the quirks in his theology. That some how you’re not good enough yet… That some how you do not measured up to the fullness you should be. According to the many teachings, Tony stresses that you have not arrived yet. You have to get your sin under control first before stepping into a close relationship with God. According to Cunningham, you have to bee submitted to him to be considered worthy to be invited into his inner circle. This is where Tony promotes the completive spirit of Tony Worship, it looks so much like the reverend Jim Jones of “Jonestown”

If you take a look at the absolute truth of trusting God with who he says I am, now & today. We learn it is humility that attracts grace. The moment we accept Christ is "The Moment of Un-Becoming" un becoming the condemned sinner and becoming his child… That’s my new identity…that’s who I am..

You see performance-obsessed cultures like Radiant Life Church can never promote healing. Rather, they create more wounding.

My unresolved sin sensitizes me to the sin of others and I become their judge.

Striving to sin less leaves us dysfunctional and immature because it creates hiddenness.

So much to take in, and yet we know the truth. Is it possible that Mike Villamor in Marysville Wa has stepped over the edge? I know that he has almost entirely severed connection with Tony, but the DNA is there. Uh Oh what to do now?

if you want an opinion of someone that goes to TPC I will give you mine.

Pastor Mike and Cyndi do not give themselves titles other than 'pastor'. I have not heard either say 'I am an apostle or prophet'. I have heard others say that Mike is an apostle and I have heard Mike refer to his wife as someone who has had prophetic words.

There is a group of people within the church who in my opinion have a unhealthy view of where Mike and Cyndi fit into their walk with God. This can be found in almost any church. I have witnessed this in every church I have attended. This is usually a maturity issue with those specific believers and not one encouraged by the leader within the church.

The bible speaks of knowing a tree by its fruit. In the two years I have been attending TPC I have found their fruit to be based on love, joy, and encouragement. I have participated in many classes and have never (NEVER!) heard anyone (including staff members) say I have a word from Mike. Or Mike believes we should. It has always been bible based.

Now, you don't know me and therefore my testimony does not have much weight. I could be accused of being blinded or too far on the outside to know what is truly going on. Fair enough statement but not true.

I believe you are very mistaken in saying that Mike and Cyndi do not give themselves titles. There is first hand testimony from people who have been present when Mike has called himself an apostle. Be careful not to buy into the lie and take a godd hard look at who Mike looks to as his discipler/apostle/leader...... ...that is Tony Cunningham in Sac from radiant life who currently has a very jacked up church and many legal issues.

I look forward to your findings and I hope that the leadership at TPC can be open and honest with you. I hope that they would share important details i.e. financial dealings and contributions to Tony. I would hope that your questions and there answers could be documented.
I would encourage you to look closely at the history and spiritual connection Mike and Cindi have with Tony. Look at the teachings that have spilled over from Sacramento Radiant Life. Spiritual Authority, Covenant Relationships, Spiritual Parenting, Heart of David, strategic Advance, Discipleship Training and Leadership Development.

LIFE CHANGE CHURCH
is connected to Radiant Life Cult of Sacramento!
I don't care what the pseudo pastor Dale is saying! He is very much under the covering of Tony Cunningham and Radiant Life Cult of Sacramento. Dale has ben seduced by the promisis of fortune fame and popularity. He has seen what Tony has acquired here in Sacramento/Elk Grove and wants the same.

He can try all he wants to say that he is not connected to Tony or that he does not accept all of Tony's teachings but then I have to follow up with the question; Why would you submit to someones authority and say you are going to pick and choose what you receive? then why be submitted to that person? It's very two faced having a double standard.

For years we have heard Christian leaders say that the Christians in America have no idea what real persecution is like. We have all heard the many examples of how Christians in China, Russia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and through out the world have suffered such outrageous examples of human torture all because of one’s faith in Jesus Christ. You can look up the history of the martyrs in “Fox’s book of martyrs” and “Jesus Freaks” and yes there are many examples of persecution and torture.
The enemy would be so bold and crass to challenge a Christian to renounce there faith in Jesus Christ. We don’t have that kind of persecution here in the states yet, but we do have a very subliminal seduction occurring.

I would agree the freedoms we have here in the United States has insulated believers from facing true persecution. I believe Christians in America have adopted an apathetic attitude rather than standing firm in there faith. They have aloud strange people to come into there congregations and woo people to follow there new teachings. America has become a breading ground for false religions and false teachers. We the Church have become complacent and apathetic to the schemes of the devil. We have the keys to lock up and protect our faith but we don’t use them. It’s like leaving your keys in your car eventually somebody is going to steal your car. I believe that’s the condition of the Christian Church today. We have willingly given up the fight for the truth and allowed thieves into our homes.

Meanwhile people like Tony have posed like a genuine pastor only seduce the members of the congregation. He has wooed members to think he is an apostle, prophet and “man of God status” The illusion is propped up where people stop questioning and just go with the flow. People in the church have not tested these goofy teachings and we end up with Spiritual Authority, Covenant Relationships, Spiritual Parenting, Heart of David, Strategic Advance, Discipleship Training and Leadership Development. Teachings like these go unchallenged and unchecked turn into religions like Mormons & Jehovah witnesses the Christian Scientist and now Tony Cunningham of Radiant Life church.

You see the church has given up they have willingly handed over the foundations of faith in Jesus Christ to these false teachers who covertly are doing the devils work. They have allowed there ears to be tickled and seduced to follow a false Pastor. Call it the subliminal seduction of our souls.

I have been saved almost three years now..saved from both eternal death, and the Jehovah's Witnesses "cult". After the all american church scouting I found TPWOC. I attended a class "101" which details the roots of this particular church. The roots run deep into bible territory.. In the class Pastor Mike was asked about his being called an apostle, he said that he did consider himself as more of an apostle than that of a pastor, saying that there are people set up in the church to "pastor" the people, and he has a calling to grow more churches, set up "pastors", working similar to Paul, in that he was an encourager to those churches he helped establish, mind you that as of today there have come a number of churches, planted, and established because of the work that he has done..Oregon, WashingtonX2, Canada, and in the Phillipines.. First in Jerusalem, then to Samaria, and into the nations HUH? Pastor Mike has brought our community together as none other, and we didn't have to do it because of a catastrophe either! Pastors from different denominations are swapping pulpits... WE ARE THE GENTILES..cause if you aint a Jew, you must be a Gentile..(or a Greek LOL)... I have heard Pastor Cindy talk, and she clearly has different ears to hear, and understand, Prophetess, perhaps..who am I to decide, we will all stand in front of the same Christ and tell our account... Through thier God given wisdom many have dedicated thier lives to Christ. Speaking about the maturity of the Christians, and of those who lean on Pastor Mike, I have to say.. Pastor Mike is the "cool kid", of course the "cool kids" wanna hang out with him..wondering what he's gonna say, or do next..didn't people flock to Christ..to listen, and to be in his presence? It's good to be around good people..it's encouraging and strengthening. I personally go to "church" to be fed, there are lots of people, pastors or not who can give a good word, some have the gift of teaching..and they get in front of crowds..Pastor Mike is one of them..I also go to church so that I do not forsake the gathering of myself to others..I know the value of strength in numbers..and because I am part of the body of Christ I hooked in to the source (CHRIST). TPWOC, helps grow people in many areas, family, friendships, evangelism, love, hope, grace, faith.. Major fruit comes from this church body, this group of believers who are delighted in loving others to Christ. And the worship music aint bad either...

tpcattender2..........your comments clearly show to me how immature, naive, and gullible you and the church are. While I appreciate your comments and respect your right to speak up, I can not find anything in what you said of any really substance. Most is folly especially the comment about "i go to church to be fed". How selfish and self absorbed is that. What about worship. Churches were set up for worship. Your comments about the cool kid border on absurdity. I am really sad in the end for you that your church scouting led you to such a maligned, doctinally unsound church. Really, have you used discernement. Is pastor Mike a good teacher because he is a good speaker and comfortable in front of people. This is not a qualification of a good teacher. a good teacher is one who represents truth. Pastor Mike is just like toneypastor tony in sacramento, a seemingly good teacher on the outside but really a manipulator. Pastor Mike might as well be selling cars or vacuums or something. That is his gift, not teaching. Dont be swayed by the slickness of the words and the delivery. That is the big lie. good luck in your walk. Your comments definately do not sound like they come from you and your heart but rather the same rhetoric used in sacramento and TPWOC.

step back , reflect at the teachings that have come out of a Mike....where did they come from?
Why do they parallel and mirror what Tony Cunningham has done down here in Sacramento?
start asking the questions about the finances that TPC is spending look at the life style that Mike is living and show us that he in not mimicking Tony.

I was talking with a friend the other day and he said " I noticed Tony's car this morning and it struck me.

Tony is driving a car that normally you might see a 25 year old driving, the kind the 25 year old would use to troll for and impress chicks.

The dude is locked in time. He has failed to mature. Acting like he's 25. Pathetic! Grow up, resign and take a real job."

The smug arrogant attitude we get with Tony is spilling right over to Mike V. at Turning Point
the false teachings have also been planted into his heart and he to is deceived.
