Years of cutbacks mean fear on the sheriff's night patrol

Jul 13, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: KVAL-TV Eugene

It's 11:30 on a Tuesday night, and Coos County Deputy Ernie Mitchell is scared. He flicks off all of the lights in his patrol car and creeps down a narrow dirt driveway in Fairview for a stalking complaint.

Its a outrage ! We must demand a bigger and better police force NOW! To town, to control anything g and this makes for a very huge danger to the officers and the population . We all pay plenty in tax and we must demand our county controllers provide a superior police force ...with all the he visitors to our area , he size of our county And the crime in this area , we can no linger stand by fie any moor cuts to the budget , or removal of a single officer . Now collectively we must tell our local gov.o create a adequate police department ,.we must get behind this for the he protection of all .
