Why not worry about What YOU can do to improve the whole world instead of what others are doing? I pay taxes just like the other guy - and I smoke. Those parks are mine as much as yours. Tell me to pick up the Butts and not blow smoke in your face and I will back you 100%-Tell me I can't do something (or have to do something) and you are no better than the Government that wants to control every single thing a human does on this planet.
I know how bad smoking and second hand smoke is - with all the publicity the last few years Everyone does. We (smokers) understand your concerns and have tried to accommodate the complainers (with legitimate complaints as well as "just like to complain") We would not think about lighting up in your home nor a school or public indoor area. We limit our habit as much as we have been forced to do.
So how about you back off for awhile and just enjoy the rewards of the $3.00 a day Tax I pay....

As most drunks, degenerates and lowlife riffraff are smokers, keeping them out of the park should make the park safer for everyone else. 0>:~)

I doubt if the Drunks, Degenerates and Lowlife Riffraff (as you put it) can afford to smoke now days. Probable hard enough just to get a blanket....
Do you know which is actually the worst for the human body-
1) being in the same 1000 foot open building with one person smoking a cigarette
2) Being 10 feet away from a bus pulling away from a stop sign,
Talk about cough choke spit and turn green
