they are suppose to be closing because of a lack of help. Personally I think they have outlived their role as a restaurant. Recently I visited Garibaldi's for dinner. The lady that waited on us was crabby. The bread was limited to 2 pieces per person and the servings were very small (salad and ravioli) Also having to be there so early makes it hard too. By 5:00 they were out of a lot of things.

Service and food was always great, sorry to see such a fine place closing...Woman were always friendly and always treated my young daughters great, always played with them and give them candy...I would say the visitor who doesnt know how to spell visitor probably never went to the great establishment very often....

Are we talking about the restaurant in downtown Monessen? If we are, then I must say this. After returning to this town 20 years later, I was recommended to eat at this place. I took it upon myself to go see what kind of place this was. I was meeted by a waitress who addressed me immediately as if I did not belong there. When all I wanted to know if children were welcome within the place. I felt that what I had left behind 20 years ago, was still there, the sickness of racism. 45k and up

This is not the place you referenced. It is in Belle Vernon, not Monessen. If you happen to be African-American, I am very surprised that you were treated this way, as Monessen has a large African-American community.
