Charles Price and his cohorts should pay for what they have done to the workers of Johnson Rubber Middlefield and North Baltimore. It would be different if it was the economy or the down size of the car companys. But NO it was the GREED so Charles can run his race team and live high on the hog. Same goes for his helpers in his so called business on helping companys. I would like to see him and his group pay in some way so they can see what it is like for all of us. I have worked at Johnson Rubber for 33 yrs. I have not disliked someone so bad as I do Charles Price and his Helpers. Also our plant manager in North Baltimore who is also one of people in this.. It's obvious to me if we would have had people with business sense running this company we would not be in the position we are now facing!

The company survived for 110 years, but "Turnaround Experts" Charles Price, Tom Hazelbaker, and Pete Hottois from Horizon Management drove it into the ground in a matter of three years. Insiders like Ray Podesta and Carl Gorudulic helped, yet they all made big bucks, while we all suffered.

As close neighbors of Johnson Rubber (for decades) we wonder if the contamination found in the soil and groundwater on the Johnson Rubber property will ever be cleaned up? Middlefield Mayor Bill Poole had the facility tested in 2000 and found "TCE" contamination even in the discharged surface water! Only time will tell. The Duncan Family
