Well, we have lived in North Baltimore for about nineteen (19) years, now. I was raised here and my husband lived here for awhile. In 1999, my husband retired from his job. When he received his retirement package, we spent seveal thousands of dollars to upgrade our home and property, including putting in new sidewalks. We have had an upground pool for every year we have lived here. Never once had anyone notified us that we had to put a fence around it ! If my pool is a danger to the community and has to be fenced in, then why does the humongous waterfilled quarry behind our house not have to be fenced in ???? There is much more danger of someone getting hurt in that quarry than there is that someone could get hurt in our small pool !!! the city doesn't seem too worried about that !!! GIVE ME A BREAK !!!

I too grew up in North Baltimore and just the other day was thinking What ever happened to the money they collected in the 60's to build a public pool. They still don't have it and they had raised over half the money. Just wondering.
