Yeah, it seemed pretty obvious that was the case.
People are nuts, what is it about relationships that make people want to kill and beat their significant other is beyond me

Imagine being asleep in your Delray Beach, FL apartment and your mother calls you screaming that your sister's dead. I'm still shocked and think she'll come walking in the door or call me on the phone any minute now. I never imagined I'd be looking at coffins today with my family and touring cemetery plots. MY big sister was amazing. She was loving, had attitude, and too many characteristics to list. To all who knew her, they know what I'm talking about. I was fortunate to have had her as my sister, but I guess I'm selfish when I say why her. She didn't deserve this and I never imagined Dave to be capable of such a thing. We were the 4 sisters, the four daughters of my Parents little Italian family. Now our hearts are broken and our lives changed forever. I always thought we would grow old together being 13 months apart. I still can't believe I'll never see her again, or hug her or tell her I love her. I'd like to think she knew how much I loved her. She always said she envied me for my career and ability to be on my own and I always envied her. Thanks to everyone who has prayed, sent food and supported our small loving family.

I don't think any reasonably sound person would have doubted he did it from the first reports. Now what is his enabler mother and pathetic hide-your-head-in-the-sand family members have to say? Oh, right, he was a "great guy," "a good cousin," "Our own private guardian angel," on and on ad-nauseum ... Guidos all! Keep wearing your "wife beater" undershirts all summer so we can visibly identify you!

Consider yourself fortunate you got away from him. Make sure this is a lesson learned that you don't have to take abuse from anybody!

We all loved your sister.. she had attitude and spunk, and a great big heard of gold. May your family find some peace in knowing the truth of what happened. All I have wished for this entire week is that Erika, my coworker and friend did not suffer.
Thoughts and prayers continue for your family. And you should know if your family needs anything there are SO MANY people that would do anything to help.

Joetta, I'm so sorry for what happened, it seems like yesterday, that we all went to the docks fishing, or were just hanging out at my Grandmothers house. Jason is so hurt, as well as I. I pray for you and your family. Unfortunately, I cant make it home, but I will try to call. Your sister was a great girl, carry on her greatness.

There are no words to describe the shock of this event. Erika and I were friends a long time ago, and although we lost touch, I am saddened by this. My heart goes out to the Delias, and I've had a candle lit for Erika to guide her on her journey.

The Delia family will be surrounded with love from everyone during these final trying days before Erika is put to her final rest.
Now it's up to all of us, if we really mean things and really care about Erika, to try to get the Orders of Protection brought out into the spotlight and really enforced much stronger than has been the case. This is how we can all avenge her senseless death with a worthless Order of Protection filed for. Our political leaders have got to be made more aware of this...for it didn't begin with Erika, nor will it end there if some more forceful kind of legislation isn't passed.
Dear Erika...you've awaken us up. Respond if you know what I mean.
I loved Erika as I love the remaining family.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you and your family. Dont let her death be in vain. Educate people on the dangers of dating violence. If you reach one person you will make a difference. All it takes is one person, one voice, one message.

My prayers to Erika's family... She was truly loved by so many, and will be missed terribly. She touched so many lives, with her smile, her willingness to do for others, sometimes even before herself. Erika was always there for you. Until we all meet again, REST IN PEACE.
