Since the oil cartels in conjunction with the US lawmakers are fleecing the American public with higher oil/gasoline prices we have to exercise the ‘free market’ forces that we are told work so efficiently. Simply cut back on the use of gasoline. If the public buys only the minimal amount of gasoline necessary to squeak by we could cut our usage in half.
As I see it cutting fuel intake should result in driving down oil prices if indeed this is a free market envoirment. On the other hand cutting back on fuel may simply cause Congress to raise US subsidies to the oil companies thus proving that the Free Market that drives US corporations is in fact a Big Lie and that corporations are the biggest receivers of welfare in the US.

Brian framed the issue very succinctly. There is no getting around the collusion of the Oil industry as they greedily hike gasoline prices artificially.

People go ballistic when some town empolyee is caught taking too long a lunch break. But, no one even peeps when huge oil corporations continually fleece hard working americans.

Why is there no accountability. Do corporate campaign contributions have so much influence in preventing government oversight.

Where is the outrage.
