A week or two before Jerrys closed, someone renovated the whole restaurant like the show on TV with chef Ramsey. They were filming for a couple weeks as the work was being done. They even took video of the husband and wife and they were saying that they wanted to draw a younger crowd. Also that the business was not busy anymore. There was also a grand reopening with camera crew and another interview with the husband and wife all dressed up. And they were saying how excited they were to see the new inside of the place. A whole bunch of people came and everyone was waiting outside to walk in. Even all the waitress's. Then they were open for a few days after that before they closed down for good. The blonde woman locked the doors and told the school crossing guard that they were closed for good. Personally, I think they had this company redo the place so they can get more for it when they sell it. It just doesn't make any sense to close down after the grand reopened.

I saw the film crew too... it was definitely restaurant impossible - food network. I saw the Indian designer.... is the episode ever going to air?

I can not believe it....WOW, I am so sad Jerry's closed. It was our favorite restaurant of all time! My daughter & son-law will be VERY upset also! How sad :(...Just dont find too many great restaurants like that anymore. And the employees there were the BEST ! I am so upset today to find this out. We all moved away and were looking forward to going back there one day:(..So sad :(

Not surprised. The only thing that was worse than the food was the service. My wife and I made the mistake of going there once, and the waitress was bragging about the fact that she didn't care if her attitude cost them business. Guess they found out the hard way how well that turned out...
