Oh surprise, Johnny is on the TV with more Bla Bla Bla. He needs one of those shows where he just talks to himself so he doesn't have to try to make everyone else look through his rosy revisionist glasses. Yeah, Conte doesn't fix all the woes of North Adams, but it's a start to fixing years and years and years of neglect.

A short meeting, but Honorable Mention goes to Bender Bob Cardimino, who gets the Consistency Award for his performance as the befuddled, always wrong, ill wind spewing blowhard. He says he is going to work day and night to get signatures against a school for the children of North Adams. Any bets on this guy putting in the first full day of work in his life?

The clock is ticking-- 20 days and counting from final action according to section 42--of course the petition supposedly was started a week or so ago-- wonder how many sigs they have at this point --oh and No Bet

I support Conte school. JB wants to gamble the $23,000,000 the state will give us. He said the money will be there when we want it. We know his betting record. He should be a millionaire instead of remortgaging his house over and over. Don't go with Barrett. The odds are safer.

I was talking to one of the councillors the other day about this petition. According to what I learned is a person cannot get the petition papers from the city clerk until AFTER the second vote. So if that is so, I wonder how many of those signatures they already got are going to be valid. Whats your take on this Clark?

Did you ever think the "rumor" about a petition being started a week or so ago was a false flag to see how many of you idiots could be made to jump.

Mission Accomplished.

An example of the morons telling lies. Half of what comes out of their mouths are lies and the other half is wrong. You've heard the term deaf, blind and dumb. Bob needs hearing equipment or he makes up what he thinks he hears or doesn't hear the facts. He needs glasses to read what John tells him. The third one is obvious.

Yes I did think of that, but I was asking Clark a question about if it isn't just a rumor. I was not made to jump. I am only asking a question. A smart person if they don't know how something works will seek out the CORRECT answer.
Also, I asked where these signatures were being collected at and I didn't get a straight answer. I was told to the effect it was near Big Y and somewhere else, but "they" didn't know where. So if you think I jumped it's your loss. Have a good day now.

Nice try. It's called being a puppet master and you fools fell for it. Suprised you didn't run down to the Big Y to see.

Who knows, Bob could be there now.

I believe that to be true--as I read section 42--3 registered voters have to bring a petition to the clerk and when certified by the clerk go out and get the signatures--and that's pretty much what she said last night--- 42 says after "final action" and that action was last night--however- what I didn't know was that the school committee had not okayed theplan---I find it strange that the Council was voting on something submited by the school building committee and not by the school committee---anyway section 42 also pertains to school committee actions-- after final action (whichhasn't occured yet) same process as to overturn a council decision---what that could mean --is two separate petitions to over turn two actions- one Council and one school committee-- and two special elections--maybe one if the timing is right but with two ballot questions---I had suggested that a referendum was exempt by the language "revenue loan order" but I guess it means borrowing in anticipation of revenue--DeRose said the referendum would be legal--sorry if I got off on a tangent-- but I am not sure that any signatures gathered before the 20 day time period begins would be valid

Do the signatures have to be on specific forms? They can't sign plain notepaper? If the forms weren't available the signatures would be invalid.

I think there are specific forms (not sure though) not unlike the forms for getting signatures to run for office (nomination papers)and I think the wording of the ballot question has to be on each- so that people can read what they are signing--I'm not sure on this but I beleive that any signatures collected earlier would be invalid

You're welcome. Just wait and see how many signatures Cardimino submits that have exactly the same handwriting.

Praxis if you have a camera and are not using it to photog yourself and win money--maybe you could swing by Conte on Friday during the blizzard and snap Bender with his petitions screaming in the howling wind and snow-- A signature- a signature- my kingdom for a signature

Now is the winter of his discontent, made glorious summer by this son of Barrett.

Clark, the 'forms' are the same as nomination papers. the 'problem' is that they can be obtained, from any city/town clerk's office, or from the secretary of state's office.
