Talk about a sad soul, look in the mirror lately? I have read your postings on this subject and others on topix, you're really nothing more than a blooming idiot! You sit there and want to ask all the questions, well how about you tell of what kind of contributions you do for the town big mouth? Ah yes, CRICKETS......yep, thought so, a big ole pile of something and it sure smells.

I applaud them shutting it down. People were getting vicious (just another day on Topix).

Just learned about this forum thing. What did I miss? There were more postings? All I can say to all is this: We are trying to please our customers. If you are one, there is opportunity at the diner to do so, if you are not a customer, come on in and then we will take your comments seriously. Thank you for the heads up on the home fries, most people say it is too much.....so, the important thing is how were they? These are the things we need to know...so if you help us out, we can help you out. We are always open to constructive criticism.....oh, I am on the right page, right? By the way, Ann Marie, thanks for all the T shirts!!! The Transcript failed to print that part. Sorry! Be well, all, and we hope to see you there.......no need to use your forum names, we can figure it out now. A diner is a place where people go to meet friends, have a good meal, and shoot the breeze with others. Seems to me it is all working out fine. Watch for our grand opening in April.... nite all.

Philomene, Good luck on your venture. I will make it there. And don't take the complaints and rants people will post to heart. Some people like to remain anonymous and post garbage.

My best friend and I ate at the Miss Adams Diner the other morning for breakfast and that will be my last visit. This was the absolute worst breakfast dining experience I have ever had. First of all, our waitress was...I will be brutally honest here...dumb. It truely describes the waitress. She was nervous, she repeatedly got flustered at being asked simple questions about menu items, had to be told repeatedly what the order was, kept writing the order down wrong, scratching out and re writing many times and forgot parts of the order. My friend had to ask another waitress to bring the drink that the original waitress forgot. The wait time was awful from the time you placed the order until the time the food was received. There were only four, that's right, four other customers. What was the reason for the delay? An omelet, french toast and a breakfast sandwich for two people took a half hour to be served? The cheese omelet was extremely greasy and the french toast was bland. Common sense would dictate that serving breakfast is not difficult by any means. However, this was proved wrong. The Miss Adams Diner is not a threat to The Daily Grind, Corner Lunch or The Red Carpet. I would love to have a successful diner in Adams, but this business is a recipe for failure.

Thank you for your comment. We are in our 4th day, need to learn the menus ourselves, and I wouldn't call that dumb, just new. Thanks again for the business you did bring us that day. However, I do think you are dead wrong about the half hour wait. Oh, by the way, I will not "hash" out my business in this way. Thanks Tony for the heads up on this forum. Bye all.

Philomene, do not listen to the "crap,"Whof Arted"

Just his stunning screen name brings so much to the table!

Ask him what business he is in and what he brings to to the table.

People like this you can never make happy no matter how hard you try! Do not lose sleep over him!

Keep up the great work and best of luck!

I will be bringing friends out from the Cape in a few weeks for a business meeting!

Never judge a restaurant by the first few weeks that it's open (only a moron would do that). It takes time to get the kinks out. Your waitress doesn't know the menu or isn't getting it done? She'll either learn quickly, or be replaced. Not enough home fries on your plate? That will get worked out as well - it's not like there is a note posted above the grill specifying the proper number of home fries...

But, please, make sure to use this anonymous forum to slam and slander an entrepreneur trying to make a go of it. Reminds me of the type of trash that give the waitstaff a ton of grief for no reason other than to make them feel like a big man.
