This is a rather popular sort of thread on another forum. Maybe ya'll can focus on something you enjoy instead of what you don't here. I personally enjoy being introduced to new music, or even old.

O.K. I'll start. Youtube the most popular source.

Not your everyday Christian bands, but one of my favorites.

Well, then why don't you contribute. There is no such thing as bad or good in art, which includes music. It's all personal taste. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is my very fave though. They were a hard-core drug band before becoming a clean hard-core Christian band.

You remind me of the guy that never votes and complains the most about elected officials. Play something you like. That's the idea. I won't make fun of your taste. It's one of the things that makes us individuals and not clones.

I don't vote?? and complain about elected officals--I don't think that analogy works very well---I do play what I like---particularly when my wife is not home --or then again sometimes she likes a concert--I can easily switch gears or tastes - if you will- on my computer---let's see what I have been listening to over the past few days--in no special order-----

Emilylou Harris- Willie Nelson--Jackson Browne -Pink Floyd -Roy Orbison- Elvis Presley--Queen--Beethoven- Bach -Saint Saens-
Verdi-- The Three Tenors-- Sarah Brightman--The Wolftones- The Chieftans- Van Morrison- Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers--Arlo Guthrie--Frank Sinatra--and others that I can't recall right now

Very nice. Your taste covers a broad range. That says much. Many are stuck with one type of music such as country or rock or rap.

I saw Pink Floyd in concert, the Animal Tour. They had huge helium animals floating all over the auditorium. It was quite awesome.

I love Willie, he's a classic. Think I had most of Jackson Browne's albums on vinyl. Many of the others you mentioned also. I never got into much classical, opera, or orchestra's other than Electric Light Orchestra who I also saw in concert.

Thank you for sharing.

Yeh. I loved all those guys at Woodstock. I had the dual 8-track set and played it in my car so many times it eventually used up all 9 of its lives. LOL

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Capricorn

You're keen to look on the bright side of things and to ignore anything unpleasant or worrying. That's fine, provided that you're ready to face up to life's difficulties again tomorrow. But it's not such good news if you persist in looking the other way whenever a problem presents itself, especially if it's connected with your work or health. It may be time to face a few facts, Capricorn.
