Ive been offered a loan from a company in King of Prussia by the name of Koch financial. I've done some research (ripoff report, BBB, etc.) but I was wondering if anyone here has any information on the company. I live 450 miles away, so I can't just hop in the car and go check them out:)) Their address is 1060 first avenue suite 400 in King of Prussia. Any info, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to get scammed.

OneMainFinancial is the biggest ripoff out there! Beware of those jokers too, because I got calls from them and they're out of the same area.

That report was actually filed by me. I spoke to an employee yesterday and was told my loan offer had been revoked because I posted a question about the company on Yahoo answers. Apparently loan applicants have no right to ask questions. I did pay the insurance premium and was told I'd get a refund minus the processing fee. I asked how much that fee would be and was told "I don't know yet." I'm guessing It'll be somewhere in the neighborhood of the same amount I sent them. I'm going to do the best I can to make sure no one else is scammed like this. I'd stay away from them if I were you.

I was scammed by Koch Financial. I was looking for a loan. When I spoke to them it all seemed legit. I even researched them and couldn't find any issues. Once I paid the insurance fee, there was a "second review" of my credit and they wanted me to buy the higher fee insurance. I told them no and they said they would refund the fee I already paid. That was in June. I'm still waiting. Now they're website is down and phones have been disconnected. They were a highly organized scam outfit who probably made a lot of money off of poor single parents like me who really needed help. I tried reporting them and getting my money back, but no one seems to care that criminals are out there doing this. That was a hard and expensive lesson to learn.

The operators of the scam are being investigated by the PA state police for identity theft. Have you called them?

Hello - sorry to hear about the bad experiences you have had with that company. Just want to add a note here to protect MY good name - I own an independant insurance brokerage with a similar name, and in case any of my clients might be searching and reading this post - my company, Koch Fin. Adv. LLC, is NOT associated with the above-named loan company, and never has been!
