I didn't grow up around here and don't listen to much Tejano, but you know what, I think it is so cool and I wish the band the best success ever!A bunch of us grew up with the music of Little Joe, Johnny, Rocky, El Charro Negro[Bobby Butler] and the Latinairs, now La Familia.......I recently went to a dance in Victoria Tx when Little Joe played and he still sounds good playing all his classics......Little Joe is to Tejano music what Willie Nelson is to Country music, a legend.....I live in Houston, Tx where mainstream radio does not play Tejano music, the Mexican radio stations only play crap from Mexico......Tejano music is now only being played on KPFT 90.1FM, Houston, Tx, every Saturday, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, on the Bailando En Tejas Show with two great Tejano DJ legends-Gus Garza, Mr Music Man and Big Mac Attack; you can pick it up on the internet on www.kpft.org ; this show is damn good and plays hardcore Tejano music.....music by Little Joe, Conjunto Bernal, Ruben Ramos, Tony De La Rosa, Sonny Ozuna, Mingo Saldivar, La Movida, Ruben Vela, Los Chachos, Los Unicos, Ruben Naranjo and many more Tejano groups......so Tejanos all over the USA and all over the world, be sure to do what Tejanos in Houston do every Saturday evening before going out to the clubs, tune in to hear the best Tejano jams around on KPFT 90:1FM [www.kpft.org].....Tejano music, love it, live it, support it! Tejano and Proud!
