Richmond Heights tax commission proposes Menards subsidy

The Richmond Heights Tax Increment Financing Commission recommended that the city council grant a $15 million tax subsidy for Menards to build its $63 million store in the area.

Are you kidding me? How about giving the Richmond Heights CITIZENS a tax break instead? I'm sure plenty on companies would love to build on that location without STEALING tax dollars from the people who live here! Seriously.

A citizen of Richmond Heights who goes to my church, said he gets out of paying taxes all the time the key is... don't report all of your income to to the City.
He runs a business on Nashville Ave out of his home and is tax free. Don't let the City get to ya!
