How do you feel about "Greek" life in our town? Good? Bad? Why? Do you feel they do good for the Normal community with their Philanthropies?

Greek Life is Greek Life. You can dress it up all you like, and all most people in Grass Roots America think of, is John Belushi having a snit fit.
We live in Campustown, and near Fraternity Row (deliberately not saying which), but off the beaten path. The "Bluto"'s of your crowd, are rarely a problem, for us, and at our age, that's all we ask for. If there could be a "no-siren" policy after 10 P.M., that'd cinch it, but I'm not dumb enough to believe motorists would move aside ambulances with only lights going.
In short, it's college. Very few of you, are here to learn (ISU is in fact quite proud of ranking behind only Carbondale as the #1 Party School in the state). Someone once wrote, "Youth is a silly, vapid state." As long as you don't live out that state on my property, or scream me awake with an uncreative "YeeHAH!", then, I say to you, Party On (Garth).
Oh!, uh, P.S. One Night with the homeless, sleeping in the cold, means nothing. If you want to pay that kind of dues, take next semester off and go to Manhattan.
