the community care center is one of the best things that has happened to this town in a long time. so many do not have transportation to go outside the city to get help, here, others can help with getting there. kudos to noreen and all the volunteers that help there. may God continue to bless you all

"I'm posting this to try and get the word out to more people in our area who may be in need of food assistance. Perhaps you have a friend, relative or neighbor who you know are having a difficult time. Please pass the word around that we are there to help at the Community Care Center, 112 S. Center St in Braidwood. We are open on Tuesdays from 10 till 2. We serve residents of Braidwood, Braceville, Essex Township, Garfield Township, and Godley. Those asking for assistance only need show proof of residency and sign a statement that their monthly income does not exceed the maximum amounts specified by the State of Illinois DHS. Also, we normally have someone on site who can help with Link Card applications if you have not applied for one within the last year and live within Will County. We are NOT from the government, but we ARE here to help."

Main Street Baptist Church also supports the Community Care Center you can visit our website at www.msbbraidwood.com

I hope this helps you

Wouldn'tit be nice if they had a membership drive? Maybe a dollar a month club, where you could join and support with a contribution of a dollar a month or some multiple thereof. It would be simple and affordable and I am sure they would have a lot of folks who would consider it. Lots of little contributions make for a nice total many times?
