Do I object?
Not to Extreme approaching Ninny. They "tried to work out a deal" in Blm., and it didn't pan. Okay. "one city's trash...", etc. Blm. dropped the ball. What more can be said?
Not to tax increases. They go up every year, anyway, mostly so Unit Five children can be taught Socialism. If I have to pay that, I may as well pay the Emperor of Japan, too.
Not to the vote being put off. They Always put off Every important vote. The Normal Town Council is terribly disorganized.
...but, to hand Extreme such a favor, passing it onto the citizens, when some years back, I watched Gian Sud have to beg like a starving man before he Council--more than once--to try and get a waiver for his business marquee to fly past Garrett Scott's lunatic legacy of "keep your signs away from Garrett Scott's streets, i.e. Normal"...well, if you put one auto dealer through the ringer and tongue-kiss another, maybe you either unfairly hate the one guy or mysteriously love the other. Considering that Mayor Ninny, is HUGE in the Businessman's Association, I just find that...interesting. And worthy of a smirk.
