Someone tell the Senator that Illinois extends beyond Bloomington. In fact I'm surprised he even considers anything south of Joliet to be in Illinois.

Maybe Burris and Blagojevich should go back on the Letterman show and the View together and pitch their lies and BS to the nation so all of Illinois will be embarrased by the fiasco the two clowns are creating ??

Where’s the humor I expected? I read this article twice and found none. Come on, Burris, don’t disappoint me.

God knows we need more good humor in the U.S. Senate, and that’s why he—God, that is—ordered Blago to pick Burris as Illinois’ next Senator.

This is also why God chose Al Franken to be Minnesota’s next Senator.

Have you noticed that Burris, like Franken, has a wonderful sense of humor? With a little mentoring, he could be the next black Al Franken.

Unfortunately, both Franken and Burris are articulate, passionate, and burdened with superior values and intelligence.

God, I pray that America and Big Media will overlook these shortcomings.

Thank you,, I'm so sorry to be in Illinois resident, I feel like i want to quit voting, this doesn't make any difference if a liar and cheat appoint a Senator whom in turn lies and cheats,,, is this really the American Way or am I missing something?
