Curtains for publishing biz? Nobody asked these guys

There are 1 comment on the Chicago Tribune story from Jun 6, 2009, titled Curtains for publishing biz? Nobody asked these guys. In it, Chicago Tribune reports that:

The cover isn't much to look at. It's mostly white, with a hot-pink scribble rising out of the lower right-hand corner that, if you squint just so, reveals itself to be a head-and-shoulders portrait of a bearded man.

The picture taken at Harry Scheer's News Agency could not have been taken in 1915. My mother was born in that year and my grandmother was still wearing long skirts. The 20's saw the short skirts. The picture looks like it was taken sometime in the 1940's. Also, no man in 1915 would have been seen in a T-shirt out in public, lounging on a stool like the one pictured.
