Why help people who couldn't afford the homes in the first place and probably exagerated their income. Why reward irresponsible homeowners? What about all the foreclosures from the last 30 years? Who helped those homeowners? Some of us didn't go out and buy a bigger home we couldn't afford. As an adult you have to be accountable for your behavior and not expect someone to bail you out.
