nTelos Wireless, where the difference is savings, announced today that it has activated three new cell sites that will enhance and improve coverage in Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

The Virginia-based wireless provider, which is known for providing high-speed, dependable nationwide coverage for less and the best satisfaction guarantee in the industry, activated the new cell sites during the third quarter of 2012.

“It’s always exciting to make network improvements allowing our customers to have a better wireless experience,” said Conrad Hunter, chief operating officer of nTelos Wireless.“We take great pride and satisfaction in providing our customers with reliable, nationwide wireless coverage for less and that includes enhancing our network throughout the Hampton Roads.”

A new cell site in the Norfolk Industrial Park enhances coverage to the intersection of Village Ave. and Princess Anne Road. It also provides enhanced wireless service to the surrounding neighborhoods of East Coleman, Fox Hall Gardens, and River Oaks.

The new Virginia Beach cell site enhances coverage along Holland Road between Princess Anne Road and Dam Neck Road, as well as the neighborhoods of Christopher and Colony Acres.

Areas in Chesapeake will also benefit from a new cell site that will enhance wireless coverage to the neighborhood of West Munden.

In addition to adding cell sites and enhancing its network, nTelos Wireless is active in local communities throughout the Hampton Roads and across Virginia. nTelos is the official wireless provider for Virginia Tech football and has been the title name sponsor of the nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Portsmouth since it opened. The company also supports the National Kidney Foundation, including the Foundation’s walk in Virginia Beach. nTelos Wireless also sponsors many community nSpirit programs, which generate donations for local schools and non-profits. Company employees are proud and active participants in community programs in and around Hampton Roads.
