The Rasmussen poll last week (remember, Rasmussen polls likely voters, not all adults) shows the Republicans are more trusted than the Democrats in every category except immigration.

Obama along with Barney Frank and others, voted for sub prime loans, a huge part of why the economy is in such a shambles.
So in effect when he states he is cleaning up the mess that was left behind, he is helping to clean up the mess he helped to create.

They were literally throwing money his way in the form of home equitity loans. Today he has lost some to forclosure and is struggling to hold on to his home and business. This is exactly what happened to millions and millions of people across America and the main cause of the collapse, not sub-prime loans to minorities.
