People who buy alcohol for minors need to be severely punished so that others will think twice before doing the same dumb thing. Liquor stores, Chinese restaurants, and nightclubs who sell alcohol to minors should be fined and have their licenses revoked permanantly. This problem is bigger than you think and too many parents are quick to believe that binge drinking is normal behavior. Ask any ER nurse, doctor, substance abuse counselor, or police officer of they think that teenage alcohol abuse is a good idea.

well, I drank when I was a teen.....in the wods with my friends....I can remember chugging contests, then driving back to school where the party started. We should have been dead 100 times over. WE WERE LUCKY.

times have changed. rules are more strict.
but now that I am an adult (supposed to be anyway)
I can see the harm that comes from binge drinking or drinking as a teenager at all.
NEVER would I buy for a minor.

UM.. well I drank when I was in high school I don't know anyone who didn't..and no one forced me to drink... I don't blame the kid being charged I went to high school with him.. Yes what he did was irresponsible ( I know I wouldn't buy for my brothers) but no one forced her to drink.. And also her friends should have kept a better eye on her..You don't let your girl wonder away drunk even if it is in Norfolk there are dangers and sickos everywhere and we have to look after each other
