Corona Ghost Stories

Does anyone have any ghost stories they can share about Corona? Boo and I would love to hear more stories.

As a kid, being brought up in Corona during the 1960s, we always had haunting tales of ghosts encountered in the orchards or being seen around the old mansions. One was of a skeleton of a grove worker that would come out at night, whistling as he clacked along. Another dealt with the ghost of pilots who had crashed in the hills above Corona, seeking a way home through the groves.

My most memorable story though is one that I experienced while riding my bicycle out too late near the groves. It was getting darker and I knew I had to be home for dinner soon, and so I decided to take a shortcut along a dirt road that would be a more direct route for my home on Hacienda Drive, as I was racing along this route I began to notice a rustling sound in the trees to my left, and as I approached a tall ancient oak tree the whole tree began to move as if caught by the wind. At this point a lonely wail started up, high in the branches. At this point I pedaled as fast as I could, I could swear that something was behind me every step of the way home. I never did go back to that spot, and I wonder if it is still there, that old tree up near the McMasters home.

Just get off on indian truck trail make a right you used to be able to go back towards the hills but i dont know about now since all the building of homes there you can see the blue water tower from the frwy. I went up there about 5 yrs ago and heard some weird noises in the bushes it was scary.

Gravity hill use to be cool...but its gone, along with everything else that was great about the Circle City.

I know my friend and I used to go up there I wish we would have put flour on the back of my car to see if there was any hand prints. We used to go ghost hunting all the time we went to the barton mansion in colton that place was weird to. we used to go up off weirick where there was abandoned houses before they tore them down and take pics and there was a bunch of orbs.

One time I saw a ghost in the old orange groves.

In Bedford there was a hotel with only one room. A man came there to stay. One night he was sleeping there and he felt something heavy on his feet. He got up and he saw an old victorion small women on the bed. She looked very sad. The man could not bilieve his eyes then switched the light on, no one was there. He closed the light again he saw the old women standing up near the door. The old women got a havy object and throwed it at the man. The man fell back to his bed. The next morning the man went to the bar witch was down stairs, he then asked the women who owned the hotel what happend last night and who was it. The women said its was only the ghost the man was really freaked out so he checked out of the hotel. He went across the road and he saw to women then he looked again and no one was there.
They say if you walk across the road and you see to women and then you look again and you dont see them that means you are cursed for life.

But the scary part of the whole story is....
Apparntly its true!!!

OK, so I live by Foothill Pkwy and Lincoln,(new homes) so you wouldnt expect much activity here but my husband didnt believe me when I told him I heard voices from 2 women in my upstairs bathroom, like they were having a conversation, for a minute I thought I had left a tv or radio on but nothing was on. I heard this on several occasions. Then another day I went downstairs opened the refridgerator and as I closed it there was a women standing in front of me, I literally jumped back and screamed, but then she was gone, because someone attempted to break into my house a while back while I was home alone I though someone had broken in, but realized it wasnt a "real person" my husband thought it was all in my head. But we moved out for a year and moved back in recently and he works from home and is now experiencing alot of stuff. he says he hears things falling down upstairs or footsteps going upstairs when he goes to check it out, nothing! He even thougth someone had been living in our attic and check it out but again nothing, now he is convinced someone or something is here. I came home today parked my car in the garage, went back out and out of nowhere there were hand prints on my hood of my car not mine nor his, they werent there when I parked, they are very visible.... for what we know nothing was out here before our home was built in 04 so why would there be ghosts in our house, we are the first to live here, no prior properties in this land...help freaking out!

I heard that two women were found dead in an open field in that area back in the 60's. Authorities say that they O.D.'ed on heroin after a party in the hills. You must be mainlining the same s*** if you're seeing their ghosts! Get a grip...its all in your head.

The area in which you live was all orange groves. Alot of stuff happened up in that area. There were housing camps for the citrus grove workers. Then there were the main houses,beautiful scary looking victorians. Years ago I was up in the groves and we came upon agroup of people having a ritual of some sort. They were drinking a red substance out of silver goblets. I'm sure most people who grew up around the orange groves have many stories to tell.

LOL, I wish that's all it was, oh well I'm fairly new to the area, not used to hearing noices in the night, I'm used to hearing gun shots and helicopters, I guess its better than that...

If you go all the way up skyline, eventually it flattens out and there is a radio tower or some kind of antenna at the top of a large hill. At the base there is an old house or building made of stones, and inside me and some friends found a giant pot that had blood and animal remains all over it. I'm guessing it was used for witchcraft rituals. Not really a ghost story but by far the strangest experience for me.

man last night me and like 20 friends went to norco and one of our friends said there is a abanded slater house in the woods over here so we were like lets go cheak it out so we went and it was so scary omg the house was smelly and there was old blood so then there was some staries and we went up and then right when we went up we saw a ghost a person just siting there doing nuthing so we just all ran out and got out
