You need fact what I have read in the paper does not state that. Mr Lyons, thank you for your comments however, I would really like for Rob Norco (if this commenter really is the person that owns this property) to respond to my questions as he is apparently the one having the problem with the city. Perhaps he can provide me with some accurate information, not the vague, "legal-eze" type comments being posted. I too have read the newspaper articles and I know how they can be slanted by omission or "coloring" of facts.

new in Norco wrote: <quoted text> Interesting. So, the alleged under aged drinking, the gunfire and the lewd behavior in the parking lots of surrounding businesses etc isn't true? These are some of the things we were told by people when we moved here last month. Are these rumors because city, as you imply, is trying to force you out? Seems to be a lot of people upset with you and city hall both. That's kind of strange isn't it. What's going on at city hall and why are you and them fighting? Did we have a problem yes we did nearly 3 years ago. Has the city been trying to take the property yes for nearly 4 years. Can the city take the property yes they can if they follow the law and move the business. This is where the problem is, the city wants to take without paying. It's really that simple. And if the truth be known the city wouldn't get any support. President Hoover said the bigger the lie that goverment tells, the more people will believe it. Look at Nov. 22, 1963. As I have said before success breeds contempt. The are some in Norco who believe that the way to get ahead is to tear someone else down to their level. I ask you who are new to Norco, if it sounds like a duck and looks like a duck. Well you know the answer and for some in Norco they would say this was a trick question. My advice is let your common sense be the judge. Thank you.

He's never in total compliance, just never out enough to get shut down, which is what he actually deserves. Having sat in on a lot of the "hearings" and knowing him on a more personal level, I can say that Mr. Koziel knows how to play the system. Yes, he owns Southen California Alarm, yes, he is an ex council member, yes, he is an ex mayor. If he wasn't such a jerk I would have voted for him in the last election because I have no doubt that he would have fired the corrupt Norco city manager and overhauled a lot of city hall. You want to see corruption, start at the top. You use the word total compliance. I don't know who you are but I know your not in total compliance. Have you ever driven over the speed limit without getting caught? Have you ever done anything wrong? You would appear to be a saint. Because let he who is without sin cast the first stone. You let me know of anyone who is within TOTAL COMPLIANCE of anything in their life. You must be a work of art.

Wow, the city must be really hard up. You're an ex councilman and mayor for this city and they treat you so disrespectfully? You ran again for city council the last time too? What's with the comment I read about the city's manager? Is he behind the "take-over"? I'm getting a whole different side from what I was told before. Thank you.

And no, I do not speed on residential streets BUT, I do speed on the freeway. I also drink BUT, I don't serve liquor to minors. So stop comparing apples to oranges. You may or may not be the victim of a witch hunt, only you and the city officials know the real truth. Right? So please, clue us in.

The end justifies the means that how they feel. The operation of my business is above board.

Let me just say what I know about Mavrics this is not the best buisness to have in a good small town I do not know all the facts behind this case but I do know that not all people that go there are the best people in the town. They are not known to help out the community. I had some drugies that use to live next door to me who went there all the time one of them tried to molest my now 17 year old daughter at that time she was only 15 and he was 43 years old. I can only tell you what I know of the people that I know that go there I do not know whether this is the majority or minority of the people.
